Internet Protocol Private Branch eXchanges are PBX based on IP telephony, VoIP, and networking standards. Like digital PBX before them, they can offer a wide-range of services including auto-attendant, voice mail, and line sharing. However, the systems are much more robust and have a greater range of features that allow for Unified Communications. They also operate over the company network reducing cabling and allowing for the seamless use of VOIP.
